In both cases, however, the technical details should fade into the background
and your slides should be attractive, with plenty of pictures, only a few diagrams
and hardly any formulae. After the talk, be prepared
for unusual questions and be
ready to think on your feet
– always repeat the question as it gives the audience a
chance to hear it, and gives you a moment or two to think about the answer.
