Q: Where can I park?
A: Metered street parking is available in the neighborhood around the Synagogue. Discounted parking is also available across the street at Halsted Flats (3740 N. Halsted). Q: Is there an entrance fee?
A: A five dollar donation is suggested, 100% of which will be donated to Maot Chitim. Please note that food must be purchased at an additional cost.
Q. What is permissible to be brought into the event?
A. For security purposes, NO backpacks, large bags, camera cases, diaper bags, computer cases, etc. are permitted into the festival. Only bags that are clear plastic, women’s small clutch purses, or medical bags for accompanying patron will be permitted. All items subject to search. Also, coolers, bottles, cans, thermoses and food are not permitted.

Q: Can we eat the food that the other teams prepare?
A: Unfortunately, due to health rules and regulations, the competitors cannot share their food with the public.
Q: What will be available to eat?
A: Milt’s Barbecue For the Perplexed will have a food truck and food stations at the event from which a variety of food items can be purchased.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: This is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain Anshe Emet will allow people to eat in the gym and Community Hall, however all other synagogue space is not open. All the other planned activities will remain outdoors.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Only service animals are permitted.
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds of the event.
